Howdy all, Im stopping by to say hello and Im not sure when I'll be back. Sorry if I didn't post a "Im gonna be away awhile" post before my last couple big hiatus'. Needless to say College is rough, especially when your a fish in the Corps or even a pisshead. Havent really had a chance to watch any anime or read the new AMG mangas due to living rules in the Corps and the fear of being thought of as effeminent(sorry for the shunning friends). Im here right now in a fit of nostalgia on the eve of my twentieth birthday and I plan on talking to some people from my past and I guess you guys count since I spent a good chunk of my junior and senior years in high school around here.

To Bdiah: Sorry I wasnt back sooner to wish you farewell your a cool person and I hope you do well.
To Nighhawk8799: Again, sorry I wasnt back sooner to say bye. Congrats and good luck in your time in the Air Force and I hope you make it back from your missions in one piece, sound, and with honor. We like you that way. *salute*

Just popping in quickly while on base liberty to let you know I got my Airman's coin today, and my graduation cermony is Friday. I'm almost through to tech school, and out of BMT. Wish me luck, though it may be a little while before I can post here again. Take care everyone!

Congrats on becoming an Airman, Nighthawk!  I have always been curious about boot camp.  Please divulge the details (non-secret, of course).

I doubt all that much is 'secret' when it comes to basic training, aside from some conversations with superiors I guess. I was unfortunate, in that the MTL my flight had for the latter part of training had a particular dislike for me, but I obviously survived. Once you get over the initial stress, and you realize that there is only so much they can do to you (so long as you don't punch somebody, or things of that level), that you don't need to be overly concerned about the things they yell at you. There was only one person in my flight of 58 to be pushed back, and that's because he was caught with chewing tobacco in his possession.

I was in the 323rd Training Squadron (House of Pain, Vipers, etc.), Flight 032. We didn't win any awards, but we were a good flight once we got to Warrior Week (week 4). The MTI for our brother flight, Staff Sergeant Vitela, was a complete lunatic, the things movies are made of. At one point he came into our day room carrying a skull in his hand, stroking it. Our MTI at the time tried to keep a smirk off his face, and asked 'How's Frank'. One of my fellow trainees was not so disciplined, and gave a slight snort and a chuckle. Vitela yelled at him, 'Are you laughing?!', and the trainee apologized. Vitela then said 'Don't apologize to me..apologize to Frank.' The trainee than said 'Sorry Sir', and Vitela's final words that I can recall him angrily saying were 'How can you tell that it's male?!' THe man was just made of funny stories, but I only have so much time. 

What I'll probably remember most from my graduation was that the guy in the 3rd element didn't have his dress when we were doing pass and review in front of all the generals, therefor me and the guy in first element on my left were out of dress for that important moment as well. You are looking directly at the person you are supposed to be dressing to, how can you screw that up? Anyway, I'll divulge more stories at another time.

Greetings again from Europe. More specifically, Sicily. Although the weather is not very nice, I am still glad to be able to get inside, get an internet connection and see how BAF is doing. I see there have been many positive changes this month. Great job, Kei!

I did have one nice day of weather, and got a nice picture of Mt Etna from the water.


I cannot express enough how much I love Italy, Italians, and everything about their culture (despite the fact that I still speak almost no Italian). Highly recommended to anyone who finds themselves traveling Europe.

I also spent a few days in the home nation of the site's previous owner, but didn't see him. Oh well. Endy, I hope your doing well, and staying out of trouble. Take care everyone until I get another chance to stop in!

Hello to everyone I know it has been sometime since my last post, but today I find myself in the Seychelles, an island chain in the Indian Ocean. Absolutely beautiful, but the internet connection is not stellar. I will spend a few days relaxing on the beach and then disappear again. Where will I show up next?

though I suppose I never announced that I would be absent, I certainly have been. No doubt I still won't be as active as I'd like for a while longer, but I have not forgotten this place. Just wanted to pop in and see how things are going, and wish you all the best.

Hi guys

well i've been out for a couple of months now (so this is a late absentee entry lol ) and just would like to say that i'll be out a couple of months more due to a new job assignment. Anyway, i occasionally pass by (3 to 4 times a week) to see how's the site going. Miss you all guys hope to have the time to post a lot like before.
